Roque au Fabii
the Poet
Roque au Fabii is a Gold member of House Mars with an interest in poetry and strategy. He becomes one of Darrow's allies at the Institute.
Roque serves House Augustus and commands ships in Darrow's campaign. Quinn's death and Darrow's treatment of him damage their friendship. Having learned Darrow's Color, Roque drugs him at the Triumph and presents the box containing Fitchner's head.
Roque commands the Society's Sword Armada against the Rim and the Rising. After his fleet is defeated and Darrow boards his flagship, he takes his own life.
