Apollonius au Valii-Rath

the Minotaur

Tactus's grandiloquent elder brother, famously charismatic, famously mad, and very nearly as dangerous as he claims. He appears to be thoroughly enjoying himself.

Darrow frees him from prison, for lack of better allies, and it ends the only way it can.

He does a secret deal with Lysander.

Darrow's trip to rescue Sevro on Venus proves to be a trap of Apollonius's making, and Darrow loses to him, the first time he's been so plainly beaten in years. Later, Darrow gets a duel of his own.
