Blue
Blues are raised in communal Sects and trained from childhood for life aboard ship. Their shaved heads carry digiTats, and their neurological adaptations let them interface with Society vessels.
They think in orbits and have little patience with gravity. Orion is the greatest of them.
In dim light their Sigils look like tridents on the forearm. Darrow finds them remote, a people apart, bred to navigate the stars, and on Luna it's Blues who pilot the patrolling ripWings.
Blues are raised in groups, in training that begins in childhood, and many are more comfortable with a ship's data feeds than with speech. They look down on the planet-bound. Any fleet commander, however brilliant, is entirely dependent on people who privately regard Golds as rather slow.
