Dancer

A crippled Red lieutenant of the Sons of Ares, who gets Darrow through the shock of the upper world. He is calm, ironic and deeply reasonable, and he's the first person who explains to Darrow what he has been fighting.

Dancer's job is to tell Darrow the truth about the planet, and then to ask him to do something unthinkable about it. He becomes the moral centre of the Rising, and is one of the few leaders of any Color who can be argued with.
